SME Climate Hub
Our work included driving improvements to the SME Climate Hub’s SEO and website performance, making it easier for businesses to discover and use their platform.
Over the past year, we’ve supported the SME Climate Hub across a wide range of digital channels, including organic and paid social media, email marketing, and SEO. This integrated approach has helped expand their reach, sharpen their messaging, and deepen their impact.

We've worked on a range of SEO projects, from keyword audits and backlink strategies to creating Google dashboards that help track website traffic more effectively. We’ve linked UX expertise with our SEO research, ensuring that SME Climate Hub’s website is firing on all cylinders when it comes to the user’s navigation and overall experience. We’ve also given continuous guidance on how SEO relates to PR by running reports and analyses on referring domains, backlinks, authority score, competitors and link building strategy.
SEO can be a complex area, and is often forgotten about when it comes to non-profits’ digital marketing strategy. This is why we break it down as simply as possible, providing SME Climate Hub with cheat sheets, training sessions, and Q&A calls. This has given the client more confidence in understanding the SEO effort, and more autonomy when it comes to defining its direction.

We coordinated between the website and the external email newsletter service to ensure everything worked together, from lead generation ads to subscription buttons, creating a seamless experience for new users.
When their website team took on a UX audit, we advised on webpage optimisations to ensure that users who visit would then take the desired action. For this client, that action is usually the use of a tool or the making of a climate based commitment.

Through clear communication, hands-on support, and a focus on practical solutions, we’ve helped the SME Climate Hub build confidence in their digital strategy - particularly in the often-overlooked area of SEO. From simplifying technical concepts to improving user journeys - and driving meaningful action on their site - our goal has been to empower their team with the tools, understanding, and autonomy to grow their impact online.
Fay and her team at Catnip have been exceptional partners for the SME Climate Hub. They bring a strategic mindset to every project, approach campaigns with creativity, and consistently deliver results through thoughtful, data-driven evaluation. We initially engaged Fay for organic social media and ad grant campaigns, and their role has since expanded to include long-form content development, video creation, SEO optimization, and email marketing. Throughout, they’ve demonstrated a unique ability to distill complex climate topics into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with diverse audiences across business, climate, and consumer sectors. I wholeheartedly recommend Fay and the Catnip team for anyone looking to elevate their social media and content strategy.
